About Stone & Eagle

Stone & Eagle is an independent publishing project about Albania's towns, coast and lakes.

Our Story

Founded in 2026, Stone & Eagle was created for travellers who want clear, sourced town guides to Albania, from the stone towns of the south to Tirana, Shkodër and the Riviera.

Who Writes Our Guides

Stone & Eagle Editorial is an organisational publication byline. It does not imply personal visits.

  • Publication byline: Articles are attributed to Stone & Eagle Editorial. We do not claim a network of local reviewers.

Meet the Editor

Our guides are edited by Stone & Eagle Editorial, Editorial project at Stone & Eagle — the byline you'll see on our articles. Albania town and sight guides with article-level sources.

    Our Research Process

How each guide is put together:

    • Sources: Use article-level sources from tourism offices, museums, archaeological parks and operators.
    • Corrections: We fix reported factual errors and update the article date.

    What We Do

Stone & Eagle publishes town guides and attraction and neighbourhood pages for Albania: old towns and bazaars, castles, mosques and churches, museums and communist heritage, ancient sites, the lake towns and the Riviera.

    Our Commitment to Authenticity

    We are committed to:

    • Clear attribution: Separate sourced facts from editorial recommendations and avoid invented trip reports.
    • Corrections: Report an article URL, disputed claim, and supporting source through our contact page.

    Trust & Credibility

Each guide is built from the operators, tourism offices and providers it cites, and checked against those sources before publication. For the full workflow, read our Editorial Policy and Trust & Transparency pages.

Some guides include affiliate links. If you buy or book through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and these relationships never influence which products or experiences we recommend.
